Madison School Board Passes Budget
Spokesman: Budget Mirrors Rainwater's Recommendations

MADISON, Wis. -- The Madison Metropolitan School District Board of Education passed a tentative budget on Monday night.District spokesman Ken Syke said that the $367.6 million budget is very similar to what Superintendent Art Rainwater recommended with a few amendments.The budget, which covers the 2008-2009 school year, passed unanimously, Syke said.Stay tuned to WISC-TV and Channel 3000 for continuing coverage.
