DEA Busts Madison Cocaine Ring
Officials Seize $123,000 Worth Of Cocaine

MADISON, Wis. -- Dane County officials and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration officials seized about $123,000 worth of cocaine in a Wednesday bust.
Gerardo Gonzalez-Gonzalez, Hemberto Rodriquez-Mejia, Ismael Gonzalez, Dwight Kirkendoll, Cipriano Gonzalez, Lawrence Wilson and Beatriz Cuevas are all charged with various counts of delivery of cocaine and possession with intent to deliver cocaine.
Edwardo Trejo was charged with obstructing an officer. All suspects are from Madison.
Officials executed a total of eleven search warrants involving three residences and eight vehicles. The search netted 1,227.3 grams of cocaine with a street value of $122,730, according to Madison police.
Residences involved in the bust include:
2928 Curry Parkway, apt. 5, town of Madison
3325 Leopold Way, apt. 111, Fitchburg
226 Westbrook Lane, Madison
Nine vehicles were seized, police said.
The bust had about 30 officers from a lot of departments, including the Wisconsin Division of Narcotics Enforcement, ATF, the Madison Police Department, the Dane County Sheriff's Department, the Town of Madison Police Department and Fitchburg Police Department.
A 3-year-old was taken into protective custody after its parents were arrested.
