7-Year-Old Milwaukee Girl Vanished May 3

A Milwaukee group dedicated to finding missing 7-year-old Alexis Patterson launched a new Web site Wednesday.

Operation L.A.P. said the site will not only serve to help in the search for Alexis, but also in the recovery of all missing children with a priority on Milwaukee and the surrounding area.

Alexis PattersonIt will have links to all other missing children-related sites. It will have photos and fliers for all those children missing in the metro Milwaukee area. There will also be links that will allow people to see all the missing children that are listed in the world.

Anyone interesting in volunteering in the efforts to find Alexis can call (414) 444-1593.

The Web site address is www.geocities.com/operation_lap.

Alexis vanished while walking to Hi-Mount Boulevard School, less than a block from her home, May 3.

Alexis' Description:
  • 3 feet 8 inches tall, 42 pounds
  • Last seen wearing a red hooded jacket with a gray stripe down the sleeve
  • Had two French braids pulled back into a ponytail
  • Had on white Nike shoes, a light-purple blouse and blue jeans
  • Carrying a pink Barbie doll book bag
