No One Injured In Collapse

Updated: 11:02 am CST February 27,2008

The Juneau County Sheriff's Office said that a building collapse Tuesday evening disabled power and phone lines for the Juneau County Justice Center and Juneau County 911 Communications Center.

Juneau County authorities said that all 911 calls are being rerouted to Adams County, but the system isn't working properly.

Authorities are advising that if anyone in Juneau County is having an emergency, call 608-847-6339 or 608-847-6363 instead.

Earlier Tuesday, the call forwarding system wasn't working. Authorities said calls were being forwarded to Adams County until phone service can be restored at the Juneau County 911 Communications Center, WISC-TV reported.

Repair crews were at the scene and expected to work through the night. As of Wednesday morning, service hasn't yet been restored.

No one was injured in the building collapse.
