Van Hollen To Issue Guide On Dealing With Illegal Immigrants

Justice Department To Serve As Liaison Between Federal, Local Officials

Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen is releasing a guide for law enforcement to outline how to handle illegal immigrants.

The guide focuses on who can detain illegal aliens, conduct background checks and other protocol, WISC-TV reported.

Van Hollen is also making available Department of Justice resources to serve as a liaison between local and federal departments.
