Updated: 7:06 pm CST January 28, 2008

A woman faces a drunken-driving charge in Dodge County after a bizarre phone call was made to 911 on Sunday morning.

A 911 call center received a hang-up phone call from the woman, who was encouraged to call 911 on a cell phone by her boyfriend. The woman was allegedly driving a car while the boyfriend was a passenger.

According to the 911 phone recordings, the woman said her boyfriend wanted her to call because he thought she was too drunk to drive.

The woman told dispatchers that she was OK to drive and she was driving because her boyfriend was too drunk.

Dispatchers got the description of the woman's car and her address, WISC-TV reported.

Authorities then came to the home of the woman and arrested her on her first operating while intoxicated charge.
