A former employee at a University of Wisconsin-Madison power plant claims that she was sexually harassed.

Amy Gabel, of Janesville, said that she was retaliated against after she rejected sexual advances from one of her bosses. She has since filed a federal lawsuit.

Gabel said that she faced constant discrimination and unfavorable work conditions as the only female employee at the Walnut Street Heating Plant.

Gabel said that she resigned from the plant last summer after the university tried to force her to transfer to a different job that she didn't want.

The lawsuit filed on Monday in U.S. District Court in Madison seeks pay for lost wages and benefits and other damages.
