Suspects Were Allegedly Talking About Drug Conspiracy With Alderman

MAUSTON, Wis. -- Two men accused in the deaths of a man and woman found shot to death in a car in a remote area of Juneau County last March made initial appearances in court on Tuesday.A circuit court judge set bond at $1.5 million for David Turner, 32, on Tuesday. He's charged with two counts of being party to first-degree intentional homicide in the deaths of Joshua Alderman, 31, of La Crosse, and Tabatha Nealy 23, of Wisconsin Rapids.Judge John Roemer ordered Turner back to court on Nov. 14.Another suspect, John Tetting, 24, of Tomah, also made an appearance. He's charged with party to second-degree reckless homicide. He'll be back to court on Oct. 24. A $1 million bond was set earlier for Tetting.The criminal complaints said that Tetting and Turner drove to a remote location to discuss a large-scale drug distribution conspiracy with Alderman. Nealy was a passenger.An autopsy showed both had multiple gunshot wounds that weren't self-inflicted.
