DNR Wardens Spread Word About Deadly Fish Virus
Fish Have Tested Positive In Lake Winnebago, Lake Michigan

MADISON, Wis. -- State Department of Natural Resources wardens were out in full-force over the Memorial Day weekend.The wardens spent time at boat landings around Wisconsin talking to boaters and fishermen about the deadly fish virus, VHS, and the new rules designed to stop it from spreading, WISC-TV reported..Fish have tested positive for VHS in Lake Winnebago and Lake Michigan, but the DNR hasn't confirmed reports of tainted fish beyond that.Stay tuned to WISC-TV and Channel 3000 for continuing coverage.
