Two Dead In Iowa County Collision

Victims Pronounced Dead At Scene

Two people are dead after a weekend crash in Iowa County.

Authorities said that Carl Towsley, 23, of Dodgeville, and Nicholas Wells, 28, were traveling north on Berg Road at about 9 a.m. on Saturday when Towsley apparently lost control while speeding and the car smashed into a tree, WISC-TV reported.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said that they haven't yet determined if alcohol was a factor.
