Candlelight Vigil Supports UW Korean Students
Event Held On State Street

MADISON, Wis. -- Candles lit the way down State Street on Monday night as members of the University of Wisconsin-Madison community and city leaders extended the hand of friendship to members of the Korean American Student Association.Members of the UW campus Greek fraternities and sororities said that they want to help reduce any fear that there will be some sort of backlash of Korean students after the Virginia Tech shootings last week, WISC-TV reported.Madison Mayor Dave Cieslewicz told the students to honor the dead by living the most meaningful lives they possibly can.
