JANESVILLE, Wis. -- James Koepp's wife said he was having an affair with a woman he is suspected of killing.Koepp was arrested in January following a high-speed chase in Rock County. He hasn't yet been charged in the homicides.Nancy Koepp, James Koepp's wife, told The Associated Press on Tuesday that she discovered her husband was having an affair with Lentz the night that he fled from deputies. She said that detectives have suggested in discussions with her that her husband killed them to cover up the affair, but she said that she doubts he had anything to do with the deaths.Lentz's father, Russ Lucht, said that he spent every weekend with his daughter and that there's no way she was having an affair.James Koepp was in court on Tuesday facing drunken driving charges. His attorney has asked that the case be moved outside the county, WISC-TV reported.Larry Peterson, Koepp's attorney, said the delay in homicide charges has been frustrating."It's hard to know what to think. It's frustrating for a person in jail worrying. But we still have faith that the right thing will happen," Peterson said.Koepp's attorney asked for any names of the victims in the drunken driving case and requested the case be moved outside the county.O'Leary declined to comment on the case, WISC-TV reported.
