Two men have been found dead in a cabin in the town of Harding in Lincoln County.

A 79-year-old Merrill man and a 70-year-old Shawano man died of apparent carbon monoxide poisoning, and a third person was also exposed.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department said it is suspected that sometime overnight the three men were overcome by fumes from a LP gas appliance.

Harding is near Merrill, north of Wausau.

The survivor, 77-year-old Jerome Roush (pictured above), was flown to Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, where there's a hyperbaric chamber to treat carbon monoxide poisoning.
