Hospice Patient Stabbed To Death

Victim Died At Hospital

A 75-year-old patient at a Wauwatosa hospice was stabbed to death on Monday morning.

Wauwatosa police said that they have a 78-year-old suspect in custody.

Lt. Dominic Leone said that police received a 911 call from the Zilber Family Hospice at about 5:30 a.m.

The victim was taken to Froedert Memorial Lutheran Hospital and died a short time later.

A spokesman for Aurora Healthcare, Ron Irwin, said the attacker was a family member, and was quickly subdued and detained by security officers.
