TOWN OF OREGON, Wis. -

One person was taken to a hospital after a two-vehicle crash in rural Dane County Thursday morning.

Emergency crews were sent to County Road MM near Eisenhower Street in the town of Oregon at 8:27 a.m. for a report of a two-vehicle head-on crash.

Dane County Sheriff's deputies said Kayla R. Kaiser, 23, of Evansville, was traveling south on County Road MM when she crossed the centerline and struck a northbound utility truck.

Two children in the car, ages 2 years and 11 months, were both secured in child safety seats and uninjured. Kaiser was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The driver of the truck, Thomas A. Hunt, of Evansville, was not injured.

Hunt was wearing seat belt and Kaiser was not, according to deputies.

Deputies said citations for Kaiser are pending.
