An Antigo man was injured Wednesday morning in a crash that caused his semitrailer to rollover and pin him inside, officials said.
Sauk County crews responded to reports of a semitrailer rollover on Highway 12 near Skillet Creek Road around 6:50 a.m. in the town of Baraboo, according to a release.
The semitrailer was on the west side of the road lying on the driver’s side, deputies said. The driver, Walter T. Prince, 46, was pinned inside.
Crews extricated Prince, who was then transported to St. Clare Hospital for his injuries, according to the release.
Investigators said Prince was northbound on Highway 12 when he crossed the centerline, hit a southbound pickup truck and continued off the road before rolling onto the driver’s side.
The driver of the pickup truck Garrett K. Rufener, 27, of Monroe, was examined and released at the scene by EMS, officials said.
Prince was cited for operating left of center and Rufener was cited for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.
