Shopping for that "one-percenter" gamer in your life but still don't quite know what to get them this year? How about a gold-plated Xbox One?

If you have about $10,000, the golden gaming system is within your reach. Harrods, London's upscale department store, is offering a 24-karat gold-plated Xbox One.

The gilded version of the console may be only slightly harder to find than the regular version, with the new system selling out in stores and being difficult to find even on eBay or Craigslist.

Microsoft announced last week that it has sold more than 2 million Xbox One consoles since the system first launched on Nov. 22. The company's newest video game console and successor to the Xbox 360 is going head-to-head with Sony's PlayStation 4, which launched Nov. 15 and announced sales of more than 2 million on Dec. 1.

The regular version of the Xbox One is a bit cheaper than the gold-plated version, retailing for $499, compared to the PlayStation 4's price tag of $399.
