MADISON, Wis. -

There’s been a rush to get tickets for the Mega Millions Lottery that still doesn’t have a winner, and the jackpot is now at $636 million.

There's been a rush to get tickets and a local business that could be front and center if the winner is from Wisconsin is gearing up.

"I would retire, and fast, quickly, like next week," said Sue, who bought a ticket Tuesday after work in Verona.

Others would make more realistic changes if they would win.

"I've got enough stuff. I have made it and lost it. It doesn't matter. I would correct the homeless problem in Dane County," said Karl, who also bought a ticket Tuesday after work.

If a Wisconsinite is lucky enough to win the jackpot, a business on Madison's east side would be front and center.

"I see stuff on TV all the time where it’s like, ‘Uh, I printed that,’" said Wade Coisman, production manager at A Quality Signs and Screen Printing Company.

If the winner is from the state of Wisconsin, the business would print the big check used at the presentation.

"We have been doing them for a number of years for Mega Millions, Power Ball, Mega Bucks, Badger 5. Pretty much if anyone from Wisconsin wins any lottery the check is going to be printed here. We’ll make a couple dozen of them at a time so they will have a stock of them on hand, so they will have them for six months or so. It's a couple times a year we make up a batch," Coisman said.

Until the numbers are read Tuesday night, hope is in the air and as the saying goes, you can't win unless you play.

"I don't play very often, just when something like this happens. Well geez, I want to be in too! I don't want to be the only one that didn't buy a ticket," Sue said.

Financial planners tell News 3 if you are the big winner, there are a few things to keep in mind.

  • Don't spend a ton right away on things you don't normally buy, like a Lamborghini.
  • Don't tell a lot of people because you never know who will come out of the woodwork wanting money and giving you bad advice.
  • Contact a trusted financial service to help with your new money.
