If you have integration on your resume we absolutely want to talk to you.  We need an engineer that understands every connection necessary to successfully integrate a new piece of equipment or system, and can design projects in documentation for others to help install. Reporter/Producer-WISC-TV, Southern Wisconsin’s most-watched news station in Madison, is looking for an enterprising general assignment television news reporter/producer.  This position will primarily report three days a week and produce two days a week. Duties include turning stories on a daily basis, live reporting, and producing newscasts.  We are looking for a creative storyteller who has the ability to find enterprise stories and deliver them to multiple platforms and a producer who understands what an audience is looking for and can deliver and late-breaking newscast. The ideal candidate will be both skilled at working with a photographer and as an MMJ depending on the daily assignment. In addition to our television newscasts, we place a strong emphasis on our award-winning website, htpp://www.channel3000.com our social networking efforts and our growing mobile digital content. We expect this position to provide on-going content contributions to all offerings. This position requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record and could involve weekend and evening hours. Candidates for consideration will have a bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related field and 1-2 years of experience in a newsroom as a reporter and producer.  

News Producer:-WISC-TV is actively searching for a News Producer to help lead our team at the #1 rated station in Madison.   We need a newsroom leader with a proven ability to deliver a high-quality, high energy newscast which appeals to our local audience.  Specific duties include working closely with the Executive Producer and Managing Editor to determine content needs and story ideas on a daily and long-term basis.  The ideal candidate will write clearly for multiple platforms, including our website. Social media proficiency is required.  The newscast producer will work with reporters and photographers on story development, and lead our Production staff with technical presentation of the newscast. Other duties include writing topical promotions, setting up live shots, editing and posting content to our website. We need a creative thinker with excellent news judgment who can deliver relevant and compelling stories every day. We prefer applicants with 1 year experience and college degree. A writing test is required.

Morning News Anchor: WISC-TV, Southern Wisconsin’s news leader, is aggressively looking for an Anchor to lead our morning newscasts from 430am to 7am.  We are seeking a strong journalist to champion our newscasts on TV, online and through social media. This person must understand the changing role of a television anchor and how to engage audiences across multiple platforms.  Qualifications include anchor and reporting experience, proficient in live shots, strong writer, and ability to work with others in a deadline situation.  We place a strong emphasis on enterprise reporting. Minimum of 3 years anchor experience preferred.
