Newscast Producer: WISC-TV is actively searching for a News Producer to help lead our team at the #1 rated station in Madison.   The ideal candidate will be a newsroom leader with a proven ability to deliver a high-quality, high energy newscast which appeals to our local audience..  Specific duties include working closely with the Executive Producer and Managing Editor to determine content needs and story ideas on a daily and long-term basis.  The ideal candidate will write clearly for multiple platforms, including our website. Social media proficiency is required.  The newscast producer will work with reporters and photographers on story development, and lead our Production staff with technical presentation of the newscast. Other duties include writing topicals, setting up live shots, editing and posting content to our website. We need a creative thinker with excellent news judgment who can deliver relevant and compelling stories every day. We prefer applicants with 1 year experience and college degree. A writing test is required.

Business Manager: QueenBRadio (Xtreme 107.1 FM, Dubuque’s Super Hits 106 FM, 97.7 Country WGLR FM and 1280 & 1590 AM) is aggressively searching for an experienced 30 hour per week Business Manager to handle accounts receivable and accounts payable while also providing support in the areas of payroll, human resources, ad placement and sales.  This position is critical to our success and we an individual with a "can-do" attitude who can function as the main point-person for the staff.  This position is also the back-up to our traffic department and will handle various other office duties.  We need someone with strong business acumen, proficiency with Excel, Word and other Microsoft Windows applications and an ability to manage and maintain confidential business and employee data.  Prior experience in broadcast billing, traffic, or accounting helpful.

Master Control Operator: WKBT-TV News 8 is seeking a full-time employee for Master Control Operator.  Prior television production experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be able to work independently. Duties include: Maintaining station logs, monitoring quality and accuracy of on-air broadcast, playback of recorded programming, responding to timing changes at a moment’s notice, taking accurate transmitter readings, recording and logging video feeds. This is an entry-level, full-time position with benefits. The position will include various shifts that may include overnight, weekend  and holiday shifts.
