Regional Controller:  Morgan Murphy Media, a privately held company based in Madison, Wisconsin, with Broadcast and Digital Media operations (including WISC-TV) in four states, is aggressively seeking a Regional Controller. Primary responsibilities include monthly closings, group consolidation, supervision and direction of accounting staff at multiple locations, general business software maintenance, and commission accounting.  Practical knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and three-five years of public / private combined experience desired. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, CPA license, and experience with general business accounting software.  Position reports to the Corporate CFO.  The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and strong organizational qualities.

Associate Editor / Web Editor: Madison Magazine is seeking an associate editor / web editor to join its editorial team. The associate editor /web editor role combines traditional magazine journalism and reporting skills with the tools of digital journalism. This is a full-time staff position. We are looking for a writer/editor with a background in reporting on one or more of the areas Madison Magazine covers: food, business and technology, health and other lifestyle topics. A successful candidate possesses top-notch writing and editing skills and is up to date on the latest trends in digital journalism. Strong organization skills and the ability to self-direct are essential for this role.

In addition to contributing stories to the monthly print issue and the website, the associate editor / web editor plays a key role in both the day-to-day operation and strategic direction of madisonmagazine.com, and as such, experience with digital publishing tools, social media and SEO is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

Requirements Include:
