Business Manager (Part-Time): QueenB Radio (Xtreme 107.1 FM, Dubuque’s Super Hits 106 FM, 97.7 Country WGLR FM and 1280 & 1590 AM) is aggressively searching for an experienced part-time Business Manager to handle accounts receivable and accounts payable while also providing support in the areas of payroll, human resources, ad placement and sales. Additionally, this position will handle other office duties. Proficiency with Excel, Word and other Microsoft Windows applications needed with prior experience in broadcast billing, traffic, or accounting helpful.
Local Sales Account Executive: QueenB Radio (Xtreme 107.1 FM, Dubuque’s Super Hits 106 FM, 97.7 Country WGLR FM and 1280 & 1590 AM) is aggressively searching for a motivated, experienced Local Sales Account Executive to take over an existing client list who can maintain the current billing and generate significant new radio advertising business in the tri-state area with potential earnings of $3,000-$4,000 or more per month. We will consider college-educated applicants with at least one year successful sales experience who can demonstrate success in the maintenance of current business and the development of new business. Prior broadcast sales experience will move you up the list of candidates.

News Editor: WISC-TV is aggressively seeking a News Editor for its online partner, Channel3000.com and 16 community websites. The News Editor is responsible for gathering and compiling news from a variety of outlets for publishing on the website, with an emphasis on delivering breaking news quickly and accurately.
Our ideal candidate must show an innovative and proactive approach to building audience, collaborating with the TV newsroom and maintaining dominant local news coverage. Working with Channel 3000's Managing Editor, the News Editor must be devoted to hands-on Web journalism and enhancing stories from WISC-TV and writing original articles, producing video clips and interactive elements.
The right candidate has to know how to fully utilize all the elements available in an online environment to advance the story and must incorporate still images, audio- and video-file components, and links to relevant Internet resources into an appealing and thoughtful online package.
Daily news writing experience, familiarity with HTML, ability to manage multiple social media accounts and strong writing skills necessary. Knowledge of Flash animation, photography, graphic design and an interest in sports helpful. Must be willing to engage with reporters, producers, anchors and the public to benefit the TV and online news products.
