Powerball tickets are selling fast with the multi-state lottery jackpot reaching $220 million for Wednesday night's drawing. Whoever holds the winning ticket can take $101 million in cash or $220 million over 29 years.It is the ninth-highest jackpot in Powerball history. The odds of winning are about one in 146 million.Powerball is played in 28 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
