Bakeline Laying Off 300, Filing For Bankruptcy

Another company in our area is shutting down its plant in South Beloit and filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Bakeline Group announced Monday 300 employees at its South Beloit production plant will be losing their jobs.

Workers say they were completely caught off guard by the news. The plant will close within 90 days.
