Doyle Will Present Plan To GM For Keeping Janesville Plant Open

JANESVILLE, Wis. -- New efforts are under way to save Janesville's General Motors plant and the thousands of Rock County jobs that depend on it.Gov. Jim Doyle said he has a plan that he hopes will keep the plant open.Doyle will travel to Detroit later in the week to present his plans to GM's top officials who have agreed to at least listen.The GM plant is scheduled to close by the end of 2010.
