GM Officials To Stop Production In Janesville For Weeks
Shutdown Ends July 28

JANESVILLE, Wis. -- General Motors officials plan to idle production at its Janesville plant for two additional weeks in July.The two-week shutdown was expected to end on July 14, but that won't end until July 28.GM officials are also planning to close another 10 weeks between August and the end of the year.Earlier this month, GM announced it would be closing the entire Janesville plant by 2010.
