Washington, DC -- (Sports Network) - Elijah Dukes scampered home on a Guillermo Mota wild pitch in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift Washington over Milwaukee, 7-6, in the third-leg of a four-game set.

The Nationals had blown a six-run lead in the contest before recovering to win it. Dukes worked a one-out walk off Mota (1-3) and advanced to third on a Dmitri Young single, before racing home when the Brewers reliever uncorked the wild pitch.

Aaron Boone belted a two-run home run for the Nationals, who have won two of the first three games in the series. Wily Mo Pena added a two-run double.

Tim Redding started and was touched for five runs on 10 hits, while walking one and fanning seven in 5 2/3 winnings. Jon Rauch (3-1) earned the win with a perfect ninth for the Nats.

Corey Hart had a two-run homer for the Brewers, who have dropped three of their past four games. Mike Cameron chipped in with a two-run double.

Manny Parra started on the hill for Milwaukee and surrendered six runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings. Mota suffered the loss after allowing the winning run in the ninth.

The Nats took an early 1-0 lead in the first. Cristian Guzman got on with a one-out double to left, advanced to third on Ryan Zimmerman's ground ball to first and crossed the plate after Parra uncorked a wild pitch of his own.

Washington carved out some breathing room with a three-run fourth. Zimmerman and Boone opened the inning with consecutive singles and Lastings Milledge chased home Zimmerman with a double to left. After Jesus Flores went down swinging, Pena made it a 4-0 game with a two-run double.

Boone made it 6-0 in the fifth when he blasted a two-run homer. Guzman walked to leadoff the frame and, after Zimmerman flied out, Boone deposited his fourth home run of the year over the wall in left.

The Brewers finally found the scoreboard in a big way with a six-run sixth. Prince Fielder got things started with a single up the middle before Hart cracked his sixth home run of the year over the right field fence.

Russell Branyan kept things going with a single to right before Redding flirted with getting out of the inning after setting down both Mike Rivera and Craig Counsell. Pinch hitter Joe Dillon got things back on track for Milwaukee with an RBI single up the middle. After Rickie Weeks was hit by a pitch, Nats manager Manny Acta had seen enough and went to Saul Rivera.

That move backfired badly as Cameron greeted Rivera with a two-run double, and Gabe Kapler followed with an run-scoring single to right that knotted things at six.

Parra had never faced the Nationals before this game...Milwaukee won four of its six matchups with the Nationals last season.
