(Sports Network) - Kurt Suzuki hit a three-run homer in the 10th inning as the Oakland Athletics completed a three-game sweep of the Chicago White Sox with an 8-5 win.

In the 10th, Suzuki hit the first pitch he saw just over the left-center wall to give the A's the win.

Suzuki finished the game 2-for-4 with four RBI and Mike Piazza went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and two runs scored for the Athletics, who have won four straight.

Ruddy Lugo (4-0) got the win for pitching a perfect 10th inning. Danny Haren started the game and gave up four runs -- two earned -- on nine hits in six innings of work.

A.J. Pierzynski went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and Darin Erstad was 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored for the White Sox, who have lost their last five games.

Matt Thornton (3-4) was saddled with the loss. Javier Vazquez gave up four runs on seven hits in six innings of work.

The White Sox plated a runner in each of the first three innings.

In the first, Josh Fields reached base on an error from Nick Swisher, moved to second on a Jim Thome single and crossed the plate when Paul Konerko singled to left for a 1-0 lead.

In the second, Erstad led off with a bunt single, moved to third on Juan Uribe's single and easily crossed the plate on a Danny Richar single.

Chicago made it a 3-0 game in the third as Uribe hit a grounder to first that Swisher misplayed and Pierzynski came home.

The A's cut into their deficit in the fourth as back-to-back RBI singles from Jack Hannahan and Suzuki made it a 3-2 game.

Piazza gave Oakland the lead in the fifth with a swing of the bat as he belted a pitch over the right-center wall for a two-run homer and a 4-3 lead.

Chicago, though, immediately tied the contest in the sixth as Thome just barely beat out an infield single to deep short and Danny Richar scored.

The White Sox took the lead in the seventh as Erstad blasted a double to left that plated Pierzynski for a 5-4 advantage.

However, Oakland tied the game in the bottom of the seventh on a one-out, solo home run from Shannon Stewart.
