United Way's Agenda for Change is a strategic plan for a healthy community, and as such has always been a real-time work in progress. But this year, in anticipation of a new four-year plan and cognizant of current assets and challenges in Dane County, United Way is making efforts even more concerted than usual to hear from as many community voices as possible.
This is really your agenda. It's you United Way. And they and we are listening.
The four community listening sessions include the topics of education, safety and homelessness, health and seniors, and one session in Spanish. They'll be held in the early evening at the Urban League, La Follette High School, Warner Park and Centro Hispano. Dinner will be provided. Please visit United Way's website for more details, times and dates.
This work will be as successful as the diversity of input. And we will assure this: You will be heard.
