6 extra-happy happy hours in Madison

Unwind and try these unique post-work specials

While Cento has happy hour every day, they also give guests a second chance to try some of the specialty food and cocktails at night. The “After Work & After Dark” menu includes cocktails, bruschettas and a couple other items separate from the traditional dinner menu. Throw traditional ice away with Sgroppino, a cocktail made with prosecco and vodka over a scoop of lemon sorbet giving it a citrus burst and a fresh way of keeping the drink cold. Everyday 4-6 p.m., Thursday-Saturday, 10 p.m.-12 a.m., centomadison.com

Oyster lovers get happy at Augie’s Tavern’s Oyster Happy Hour. With $5 creative specialty cocktails created weekly by the bartenders and changing slider specials, Augie’s Tavern provides new things to try each week. If that wasn’t enough, this happy hour also offers maple-sherry gochujang glazed wings and crispy cheese curds with spicy ranch. Sunday-Thursday, 4-6 p.m. theedgewater.com
