Bike to Short Stack Eatery during its operating hours to get free coffee with purchase and entry into a bike-themed raffle. During Bike to Brunch, Short Stack is advocating for less driving and more bike riding. Thursday, May 25
Help raise awareness of urologic cancers at the Blue Tie Bash hosted by the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health’s Department of Urology. Expect an evening with amazing food, cocktails, wine, live jazz and actions. Celebrity chefs Christy Rost and Tom Perini host and entertain with an interactive culinary demonstration. $100, 6:30 p.m., urology.wisc.edu 

Hot melty cheese. Is there anything more Wisconsin than that? Porter hosts a Raclette Service with special guest Jason Denham to feature Teutonic Wine Company from Oregon. The entrance fee provides you with all of the yummy raclette you can stomach. $15, 7-9 p.m., picatic.com

Cheers to happy hour! Instead of raising a glass, Gigi’s Cupcakes asks people to raise a cupcake. Apart from the traditional flavors, the special menu offers Old Fashioned, Bailey’s Irish Cream, Kentucky Bourbon, Raspberry Champagne, Margarita, Turtle Bourbon Pie, Mint Julep, Rum & Cola, Mojito, Guinness Stout, Bourbon Butterscotch and Kiddie Cocktail cupcakes. It’s officially the most wonderful time of the year. We’re not talking about the holiday season, but Brat Fest! Enjoy live music throughout the weekend while munching on some delicious Johnsonville brats, Field Roast veggie brats or Boar’s Head pork and beef frankfurters. Saturday, May 27
Memorial Weekend is a perfect time for BBQ! Cambridge Winery knows this, so they are serving a BBQ rib dinner with baked beans, coleslaw and fruit. Jam out to the Roadhouse Chiefs for the majority of the night. Drink specials are available all night and kids will love slurping on free red, white and blue popsicles. $14, 12-8 p.m., facebook.com 

Monday, May 29
Celebrate Memorial Day at Avenue Club’s Memorial Day Brunch. With an all you can eat, build your own pancake bar, you will be sent to pancake heaven where every stack is your perfect stack.
