Rochelle Anders and her four children will be getting an extreme makeover of their home courtesy of the ABC television show of the same name -- "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."

Anders has been attempting to repair their dilapidated home since her husband died four years ago of a heart attack while playing with his kids, but it's been determined that the house is so far gone -- a rebuild is the only solution, WISC-TV reported.

"It's been four years from the actual day, to date, that happened, so that's kind of ironic that we'd be receiving such a great thing on that day, you know," said Anders.

On Thursday morning, the star of the show, Ty Pennington, woke the family with a bullhorn to give them the good news.

A team of designers, contractors and several hundred volunteers will spend the next seven days putting the new home together. Construction on the new home begins Saturday.

Local company Veridian Homes will be on-site to build the home. In the meantime, the show is sending the family on a vacation to Canada.
