Anti-Smoking Public Service Announcements To Be Filmed At Baraboo
Ads Will Focus On Number Who Die From Smoking-Related Illnesses

BARABOO, Wis. -- A film crew is scheduled to come to Baraboo on Thursday to shoot two public service announcements designed to keep people from smoking.Drive Thru Productions, a Minneapolis-based film and video production company, is to film one 30-second and one 60-second anti-smoking public service announcement.Freelance assistant director Peter Etzweiler, a Baraboo resident, said that the public service campaign is built around the number 8,000.He said that's how many people will die from smoking-related illnesses in Wisconsin this year, and the public service announcements are intended to make that number seem more real.Etzweiler said that the clips are meant to create the look and feel of an average Wisconsin town with approximately 8,000 inhabitants.
