Updated: 9:10 am CDT June 15, 2009

Several homes in Monona showcased their green power on Sunday.

The Green Monona Tour showed off the environmentally friendly steps the city is taking.

The tour of 15 sites included homes, churches and businesses.

4Pillars 4Health Yoga Eco-Space was one of the businesses that showcased its recycled flooring, untreated cedar walls and composting toilet.

"To have a pure space for all of her clients who are coming here to heal because she really helps to rehabilitate people who have injuries to their bodies and return back to healthy ways," said yoga instructor Sarah Harrison.

Harrison said the owner's philosophy is to have a happy mind, body and planet.

The city of Monona sustainability committee organized the free tour.
