Posted: 2:01 am CDT June 7, 2009

Madison's celebration of Bike to Work Week started on Saturday morning with a bike decorating event at the Madison Children's Museum.

Children of all ages decorated their bikes -- most keeping the color of green at the forefront of their creations. There are many different events marking Bike to Work week, which runs from June 6 to June 12.

Wisconsin residents have pledged to commute via bicycles 18,000 miles during the week.
