Tickets On Sale For Freakfest

Event Set For Nov. 1

Tickets are now available online and in person for Freakfest 2008, the city's Halloween celebration held on State Street.

Advance Freakfest ticket sales through Ticketmaster -- online and by phone -- will be available only through Wednesday, Oct. 22 from 10 p.m. through Thursday night. There will be no will call available for the event.

Advance tickets are still available to purchase in person at all Ticketmaster outlets, as well as at the following State Street outlets: B-Side Records, Chin's Asia Fresh, Clary's Popcorn, Dobra Tea, Goodwill, Knuckleheads, Lands End, Pacuigo Gelatto & Café, State Street Cash Mart and University Bookstore. Freakfest tickets will also be available for purchase on the day of the event at ticket booths on State Street.

Freakfest will be held this year on Saturday, Nov. 1. The event boasts four entertainment areas with the band O.A.R. headlining the event.

Tickets are $7 per person and $10 the day of the event.

Patrons can look for posters in business windows featuring the Freakfest logo that say "Freakfest Tickets On Sale Here" to buy tickets in advance.

Tickets are also available at the Coliseum box office, Ticketmaster, by phone at 608-255-4646 and online at www.frankproductions.com.
