Steve Crosby's Rubbed Ribs On The Barbie
Rub Recipe:2 teaspoons Brown Sugar 1 teaspoon Fresh Ground Pepper 1 ½ teaspoons Onion Powder 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder ½ teaspoon Ground Cumin ½ teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper 1 ½ Tablespoons Lawry’s Seasoning Salt 1 teaspoon Accent 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning 1 ½ teaspoons Mesquite Smoke SeasoningMix together the rub recipe ingredients. Rub the rub on a rack of pork or beef ribs. Then start grill. This will allow some of the flavors to get into the meat while the grill heats up. Place ribs on direct, but low heat. Cover grill and allow to cook for 45 minutes to an hour.Ribs can be flipped occasionally. Steve adds that if you like extra spice, just add additional red pepper to the rub recipe. Enjoy!
