Angel's Wish Building New Animal Adoption Center
Donations Needed
Angel's Wish is building a new pet adoption and resource center in Verona. The new 3,200 square foot space at 161 Horizon Drive in Verona is set to be completed in July, but still needs donations to reach its $150,000 goal. Money or donations of building materials are appreciated. Donors of $100 or more will receive personalized tiles for a donor wall. The facility is different than a shelter because all animals are placed with foster families until they can be adopted. The new building will be a meeting-and-greeting place and will also be used for education and events to benefit homeless animals. "We're excited about the additional services the Angel's Wish Pet Adoption and Resource Center will bring to pet lovers in our area. We will be able to greatly increase our educational offerings, assist more pet owners, and help find homes for more companion animals in our region," said Board of Directors President Amy Good. There will also be an adoptable pet kiosk will assist people in locating pets that match their preferences, either from Angel's Wish or other animal welfare organizations.More information or to help: Call (608) 848-4174 or go to AngelsWish.orgSearch adoptable animals
