President-elect Barack Obama's vacation was briefly darkened by a power outage on the Hawaiian island of Oahu.

Obama is staying in a $9 million, five-bedroom oceanfront house near downtown Honolulu with his wife Michelle and his daughters Malia and Sasha, the Associated Press reported.
