Moviegoer shoots self in the butt
Gun fell out of man's pants during 'Bourne Legacy' screening
A man in Nevada accidentally shot himself in the butt during a screening of "The Bourne Legacy," police said.
The 56-year-old, who had a permit to carry a concealed weapon, "was adjusting himself in his seat" when "his gun fell out of his pocket," hit the floor and went off, police told the Reno Gazette-Journal.
The man stood up, apologized to the people sitting near him, and left the theater.
Police found him at a nearby hospital being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, The Associated Press reported.
The city attorney is reviewing the case for possible charges.
The shooting comes less than one month after a massacre during a midnight showing of "The Dark Knight Rises" at a movie theater in Aurora, Colo., where 12 people were shot dead and 58 others injured.
