MADISON, Wis. -- A "60 Minutes" report tonight will feature Baraboo's International Crane Foundation.
The foundation is part of a national program called "Operation Migration," in its fifth year. The goal is protect America's whooping crane population, which is teetering on extinction.Fourteen young whooping cranes are on their way back to Wisconsin right now, following the wingtips of an ultralight plane flown by Joe Duff."Most people have never seen (a crane) very close," Duff said.The entire interview airs tonight on "60 Minutes" at 7 p.m. on WISC-TV3.
