A few weeks ago we got a recipe in the mail from a
viewer who wrote that it was an old family favorite.
And she made it for her family every Sunday.
Now that her kids are grown, they also make it every
After we tasted it, we knew we needed to pass this

We started by cooking some noodles according to the
Today, I'm using egg noodles, but you could use whatever
pasta you have on hand.
While that's draining, we mixed some thawed frozen
spinach, cottage cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese,
and a few off-the-shelf seasonings.
And a little Test Kitchen tip: make sure you really
squeeze all the water out of the spinach so your sauce
doesn't become too thin.
After adding the noodles to the spinach mixture, and
giving it a good mix, we dump it into a baking dish.
Right before it goes into the oven, finish it off
with some breadcrumbs tossed with a bit of butter.
Once it's bubbly hot and the top is nice and crunchy,
it's ready to serve.
You could even add some cooked chicken or diced ham
to it to make it an all-in-one-meal.
Either way you have to go online and get our recipe
for Sunday Night Noodles so you can make a special
Sunday dish any night of the week.
I'm Howard in the Mr.
Food Test Kitchen, where today we've found a more
nostalgic way for you to say OOH IT'S SO GOOD!!
