Sometimes we all need some inspiration to deal with
that hodgepodge of leftovers in the fridge. And lucky
for us, there are those "garbage recipes," which have
that name for one reason: we can basically throw in
whatever we have on hand. And to show you how that
works, watch this.
All we do is take a store-bought refrigerated pizza
dough, unroll it on a cookie sheet and start layering
it with some toppings. Here we're using some leftover
shredded mozzarella cheese, some roasted peppers (oh
I love peppers), some fresh baby spinach from last
night's salad and plenty of pepperoni. We sprinkle
that with some garlic powder before rolling everything
up jelly-roll style.
Now, we want to do it slowly so the dough and the
filling create that perfect pinwheel. And the best
part about using store-bought dough is that it's ready
and waiting to be filled with anything you'd like,
or anything you have on hand. That's really why I
love garbage bread.
When you taste our version of this over-stuffed piping-hot
bread just oozing with cheese, you'll be loving leftover
night. Try the recipe for "Pepperoni Garbage Bread"
so you can make the most of the stuff you have right
in the fridge.
And recipes like this save us a ton of time and money.

day we're looking for an easier way to use up leftovers
because "OOH IT'S SO GOOD!!"
