Summer Restaurant Week Kicks Off Sunday
Biannual Event Offers Diners Budget Friendly Options

MADISON, Wis. -- Madison's Summer Restaurant Week is offering area diners a variety of tastes.Thirty-two restaurants are participating in the biannual event. Each will offer a special menu of three course dinners for $25. Nearly half are also offering three-course lunches for $15.The event is organized by Madison Magazine, a sister publication of WISC-TV and Channel 3000.com.Restaurant Week is held during what is traditionally a slower time for some businesses."Everyone's grilling out and picnicking and camping, and the restaurants are a little slower so here's an opportunity for them to get a little extra business as well," said Tiffany Kenney, Madison Magazine's director of marketing and special event producer.Summer Restaurant Week runs through Friday, organizers said.For a list of participating restaurants, visit to www.MadisonMagazine.com.
