Chamber Orchestra Still On Strike; New Proposals Presented
WCO Went On Strike Last Week

MADISON, Wis. -- Both sides in the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra dispute said negotiations could drag into next week. The orchestra went on strike last week.Union leader Todd Jellen said management offered a new proposal Tuesday, WISC-TV reported.Jellen said the union countered but was told they needed to submit a full proposal by Friday.He said that would be impossible due to their job obligations.The strike forced the cancellation of the season opening concert last Friday.It is not yet known of the Oct. 24 Halloween concert will be played.
