They are hoping that with gas prices high, families will take advantage of all the fair has to offer, WISC-TV reported.Hybridfest will also be held at the fair once again. The largest collection of hybrid cars in the Midwest will be on display Saturday and Sunday, WISC-TV reported. The fair opened up at the Alliant Energy Center with high temperatures and concerns for the animals.Exhibitors like Dave Gratz with Oregon Headliners keeps air moving through the barns with fans and watches for any warning signs that the animals -- especially the larger ones, are becoming dehydrated."To me it's like a person, you have to keep water going through them, keep fluids in them," said Gratz. "Obviously if the heat gets a lot worse, we'll probably have more issues where we have to consider possibly taking the animal's home."The county fair runs through Sunday.
