MADISON, Wis -- Art Fair on the Square has been going strong for 50 years and this weekend, it’s a birthday celebration.
VIDEO: Watch The ReportOne of the fair's coordinators said this year the fair is getting bigger and greener. There's going to be a whole area set up for people to bike to the square with a bike corral and water bottles for anyone who make the trip, WISC-TV reported."The greener part is really the big part of the 50th because we decided rather than looking back we wanted to look forward, and this is us kind of pushing forward," said Katie Symansky-Hunter of Art Fair on the SquareIf people plan to bike to the fair and buy something, they don't have to worry about a balancing act to get it home.Park Bank right by the capitol is offering to hold people's purchased pieces until they can get back to pick them up when they have more storage space.The fair runs through the weekend.
