250,000 Pack Warner Park For Rhythm & Booms
Traffic Issues Appear To Be Minimal

MADISON, Wis. -- Scattered showers didn't put a damper on Saturday's 15th Annual Rhythm & Booms celebration as an estimated 250,000 people packed into Warner Park for the show.
SLIDESHOW: Afternoon Photos Of Rhythm & Booms 2008More importantly to revelers, traffic problems appeared to be minimal. said,"Most people have been home in 35-45 minutes, which is just fantastic," said Terry Kelly, one of the organizers of Rhythm and Booms.For the second year in a row, organizers extended the party to help alleviate post-show traffic as music continued until approximately 11:30 p.m.Even if traffic had been worse, the annual event is a can't-miss event for many, like Tami Henriksen, who had a list of reasons for attending the show."The jets going past for one, that's awesome. And the fireworks display is just great, people watching is fun, the kids enjoy it," she said.Proceeds from Rhythm & Booms are donated to Madison children's charities.
