A grainy video from 1999 where Angelina Jolie allegedly discusses sordid sexual acts has surfaced online.

The British tabloid The Sun posted the video, which shows a disheveled Jolie, then 23, talking frankly about sexuality and explaining the misunderstood motivation behind sadomasochism.

"I'm really adamant about explaining where it comes from in your heart," she said on the Sun video, purportedly shot in a hotel in New York.

The Sun video also shows Jolie sitting next to a woman smoking what the paper claimed was heroin, but the actress is not seen taking any drugs herself. The woman's face was blotted out, and another person -- a man with a European accent -- is heard, but not seen, in the video.

TMZ.com, which posted the page of The Sun article about Jolie, said Jolie's camp has not responded to the video.
