POSTED: 4:22 pm CDT May 6, 2008

Ten years after his death, Madison comedian Chris Farley is being honored.

The Chris Farley exhibit opened Tuesday at the Wisconsin Historical Museum.

His family donated many of the items for the "Remember Chris" collection. Some items include the "Matt Foley, motivational speaker" jacket and tie on loan from "Saturday Night Live," the samurai sword from "Beverly Hills Ninja" and the jacket from "Tommy Boy."

"He loved Madison. He loved Wisconsin, and he took that love out to the public, and I think people in Wisconsin really know he's one of us," said Leslie Bellais, Wisconsin Historical Museum curator.

The exhibit runs through November.
